We are two cycling enthusiasts, Michal and Marek, who have lived and breathed bikes for years – as riders, instructors, travelers, or simply as people who believe that a bicycle is one of the easiest ways to get from point A to point B. And that’s where we noticed a problem: hundreds of high-quality bikes end up unused simply because their owners switch to e-bikes. And thousands more would love an e-bike but don’t want or can’t invest €2,000–€3,000 in a brand-new one.

This didn’t make sense.

Vollkit was born from a simple idea: why buy a new e-bike when you can upgrade the one you already know and love?

Instead of letting bikes sit unused in basements or get sold in second-hand markets, we give them a second life – and at the same time open up the e-bike world to people who otherwise couldn’t afford it.

​

Our motivation has never been to create just another product. We wanted a solution that is:

• Accessible – so anyone can try an e-bike,

• Sustainable – extending the life of existing bicycles,

• Practical – easy to install in just 25 minutes,

• Useful – for couriers, hotels, agencies, companies, and everyday riders alike.

That’s why we created Vollkit Renting. People don’t have to buy anything – they can simply rent it (and later buy it 😉), try it out, and see if the electric assist improves their riding experience.
